Greetings.
“I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do.” Written by Jana Stanfield, this is our theme song – All The Good - at SG Cares.
You have probably heard of the “starfish story”, about helping one starfish at a time, and that each starfish matters. At SG Cares, every youth, every senior, every child, every animal matters. Our hope is that everyone in Singapore takes time out to do good for our community, for everyone around us. We do what we do, because volunteers continue to inspire us. Volunteers are not just the hands and feet of non-profits, they are the heart and soul of the organisation.
If you are new to volunteering, join us on this enriching journey. If you have been volunteering, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and do continue to share your lives and experiences with us. Join us in making volunteering a way of life.
We appreciate any feedback, comments, suggestions and ideas to help us provide positive, meaningful experiences for everyone. Feel free to drop me a line at hosealai@nvpc.org.sg or send your views to feedback@sgcares.org.
Yours truly,
Hosea Lai Division Head, SG Cares
“And I hear them saying you'll never change things And no matter what you do it's still the same thing But it's not the world that I am changing I do this so this world will know That it will not change me”
