We’re looking for someone who, through a start-up or existing NPO, can help other organisations engage regular and ad hoc volunteers. What work can involve volunteers? Where work can be done by volunteers, what work can be done by regular and/ or ad hoc volunteers?”. Grantee will work closely with clients, with some NVPC’s support.
| | Requirements: | - The initiative must have strong component of volunteerism and/or philanthropy. For example, grantee may provide staff and/or volunteers to work with clients, or transfer skills to clients who have the capacity to implement on their own. Initiative must able to attract funding from elsewhere besides NVPC and be financially sustainable, as NIG covers all costs in furtherance of the initiative. Please propose the target number of volunteers and/or amount of funds raised.
- Grantee’s leadership should be senior, with experience in organisations where volunteers are mission critical and preferably have HR / volunteer management experience or have HR management consultancy experience.
- Be carried out by an organisation that is secular, non-political, non-profit and registered in Singapore, or is part of such an organization. Individuals are welcome to apply but must be prepared to start such an organisation.
