| Volunteer Host Organisation |
|
| |
| |
We invite Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) or Volunteer Host Organisations (VHOs) to partner us in promoting volunteerism. As you engage volunteers in the wonderful works that you do in the community, we want to work with you to adapt and adopt innovative ideas and share best practices on volunteer engagement. With the increased capacity to engage volunteers effectively, your organisation will achieve its mission with greater impact and sustainability. |
| |
We hope to share our resources with you, and explore areas for collaboration: |
- Volunteer engagement resources and programmes to guide you to engage volunteers effectively
- Networking platforms to be connected to various stakeholders and other NPOs
- SG Cares online features to be connected to volunteers
|
| |
| Please see the table below for a comparison of the distinct features between SG Cares Activity Calendar and vDirect: |
| |
| | SG Cares Activity Calendar | vDirect activities | Nature of activity | Regularly occurring and one-off event-based activities that are structured to allow for episodic volunteers | On-going programmes or projects that require regular committed volunteers, or volunteers with particular skill-sets. This is also a platform to recruit for group volunteers. |

| Reaching out directly to volunteers |
The SG Cares Volunteer Orientation is designed to help volunteers understand about the volunteerism landscape and how to volunteer more effectively. During these monthly sessions, we welcome non-profit organisations to share about their organisation and recruit volunteers for their activities and events. If you hope to tap on the SG Cares volunteer orientation sessions, register at this link, and we will contact you. You could also register here to be listed on our NPO Directory. This directory will allow you to state the profile of volunteers that your Organisation is looking out for and enable interested volunteers to contact you. |
